Dishwasher installation & replacement in Pensacola, FL
Bought a new dishwasher and need it hooked up right? We pull the old one, connect the new one, and run it through a full cycle with the kick plate off before we leave.
- Licensed CFC1430934
- 24/7 emergency calls
- Old unit hauled away
What a good dishwasher install includes
Most dishwasher leaks we see come from the install, not the machine. A reused supply line, a drain hose with no high loop, or a fitting that was snugged by hand and never checked.
When we put one in, we take care of the parts nobody sees.
- New braided supply line and shutoff valve
- Drain hose with a proper high loop or air gap
- Unit leveled and secured to the counter
- Full test cycle while we watch for drips
Installs, swaps, and the fixes in between
New installs
Adding a dishwasher where there wasn’t one? We run the water line and drain connection. If the spot needs an outlet, we’ll tell you before we start.
Replacements
Same spot, new machine. We disconnect the old one, check the valve and the drain connection, and replace anything that looks worn.
Leak repairs
Water on the floor after a cycle usually traces back to the supply fitting, the drain hose, or the door seal. We find which one.
Drain problems
Standing water in the bottom usually means a clogged drain hose, a full disposal, or a kinked line. We clear it and fix the cause.
“They were very prompt, and educated us on all the options without any upsell, did a superb job on the installation, all at a very fair price.”
Dishwasher FAQ
Can you install a dishwasher I bought myself?
Yes. Buy it wherever you like and we’ll put it in. Have it delivered before we come out, and leave it in the box so nothing gets scratched.
How long does an install take?
A straight swap usually takes an hour or two. A new install where there was no dishwasher before takes longer, because we run new lines.
Why does my dishwasher leave standing water?
Usually a drain problem. Food builds up in the filter or the drain hose, or the disposal it drains into is full. Clean the filter first. If water still sits in the bottom, give us a call.
Do I need an air gap?
Some kitchens need one and some use a high loop instead. Your sink setup and the local code decide it, and we set it up the right way for your kitchen.
