The kitchen problems we see most
Most kitchen calls start small. A drip under the sink that’s been going for weeks, a disposal that hums, a fridge that stopped making ice.
The cabinet under the sink is where we look first. A swollen cabinet floor or a musty smell means water has been getting out for a while, even if you’ve never seen it.
- Slow or clogged sink drains
- Leaks under the sink or behind the dishwasher
- Disposals that jam, hum, or leak
- Fridge and ice maker lines that drip or quit
One call for the whole kitchen

Kitchen plumbing FAQ
My disposal hums but won't spin. What now?
Turn it off at the switch. Most disposals have a hex socket on the bottom. Turn it back and forth with the wrench that came with the unit to free the jam, then press the red reset button. If it still won’t spin, the motor may be done.
Can you hook up my fridge's water line?
Yes. We run a new line from the nearest cold supply with its own shutoff, so you can turn it off without shutting down the whole kitchen.
Why does my kitchen sink smell?
Usually food and grease in the drain or the disposal. Run cold water with the disposal for a bit, then flush the drain with hot water. If the smell comes back, there may be a trap or venting problem we should look at.
Is it OK to pour grease down the drain with hot water?
No. It cools and hardens further down the line, which is how most kitchen clogs start. Let it cool in a can and throw it out.
