Bathroom drain cleaning in Pensacola, FL
Standing in an inch of water in the shower is no way to start the day. We clear slow sinks, tubs, and shower drains, and fix the stopper or trap that keeps catching everything.

What clogs a bathroom drain
Bathroom clogs are hair and soap. Soap scum coats the inside of the pipe and hair catches on it, usually right at the stopper or in the trap a foot below.
If more than one fixture is slow, or the tub gurgles when you flush, the clog is further down and the main drain may need a look.
- Sink or tub draining slower every week
- Water backing up in the tub when the toilet flushes
- Gurgling from the drain
- Pop-up stopper that won't open or close
How we clear it
Stopper & trap
We pull the stopper and clean or replace the trap, which clears most sink and tub clogs on the spot.
Drain cable
For clogs past the trap, we run a cable through the line to break up hair and buildup.
Fix what's worn
Corroded pop-ups, leaky slip nuts, and old tub drains get replaced while everything’s open.
Main line check
If several drains are slow, we look at the main line before you spend money on each fixture.
“They were very prompt, and educated us on all the options without any upsell, did a superb job on the installation, all at a very fair price.”
Bathroom drain FAQ
Do hair catchers really help?
Yes. A simple strainer in the tub and shower catches most of what causes clogs. Clean it once a week.
Is drain cleaner safe for a bathroom drain?
It can eat at older metal pipes and rarely clears hair completely. A plastic drain stick from the hardware store works better for small clogs.
Why does my tub back up when I flush?
The toilet and the tub share a drain. When the line past them is partly blocked, a flush pushes water back up into the tub. That one needs the line cleared.
My sink drains slowly but the stopper is clean. Why?
The clog is usually in the trap or the pipe behind the wall. Sometimes it’s a venting problem instead. We’ll check both.
