Kitchen leak repair in Pensacola, FL
A kitchen leak rarely announces itself. It shows up as a swollen cabinet floor, a soft spot near the dishwasher, or a water bill that’s higher than it should be. We track it to the source and fix it.
- Licensed CFC1430934
- 24/7 emergency calls
- Sinks, dishwashers & fridge lines
Where kitchen leaks usually hide
Most kitchen leaks start at a connection: a slip nut on the drain, a compression fitting on a supply line, or the hose behind the dishwasher. They drip slowly enough that nobody notices for weeks.
If you find water, turn off the valves under the sink and put a towel down. Then call us before the cabinet floor soaks it up.
- Drain trap and tailpiece connections
- Supply lines and old shutoff valves
- Dishwasher supply and drain hoses
- Fridge and ice maker water lines
How we handle a kitchen leak
Find it
We trace the water back to where it starts, not where it ends up. Sometimes that’s a different appliance than you’d think.
Fix it
Worn parts get replaced, not patched. That usually means new slip nuts, a new trap, a new supply line, or a new valve.
Check the rest
While everything is open we look at the other connections under the sink, because they are usually as old as the one that failed.
Test it
We run the faucet, the disposal, and a dishwasher cycle if needed, and check underneath with a light before we pack up.
“They were very prompt, and educated us on all the options without any upsell, did a superb job on the installation, all at a very fair price.”
Kitchen leak FAQ
How do I know if there is a slow leak under my sink?
Look for a warped or stained cabinet floor, a musty smell, or water marks on whatever you keep under there. Running the faucet and disposal with a dry paper towel under the trap will usually show you where it drips.
My dishwasher only leaks sometimes. Why?
Leaks that come and go usually start at the drain hose connection, which only gets water when the dishwasher pumps out. A worn door gasket can also leak partway through a cycle.
Is a leak under the sink an emergency?
If it’s a steady drip, shut the valves under the sink and it can usually wait for a scheduled visit. If water is spraying or you can’t shut it off, call us right away.
Will insurance cover the damage?
Sometimes. Many policies cover sudden water damage but not slow leaks over time. Take photos before anything gets cleaned up, and call your agent.
